Isn’t there room for regulation of solutions that violate rules that shouldn’t be broken?
For example, I started a company that had a restaurant table management solution and we would offer recommendations on how to seat reservations and walkins. The ‘soft’ fitness was related to maximization of number of ‘turns’ on a table, minimization of empty time on a table, etc.
However, there were ‘hard’ rules about overlapping more than 15 minutes between parties. If it was less than 15 minutes it was OK to overlap since you would just make someone wait 15 minutes. If it was over 15 minutes you didn’t want to take the seating since you would make someone wait too long of a time.
Is there a recommendation you would make for this type of fitness requirement?
