15 August 2017 — CHS EGM — Removal of a Director

Dear Member,

I was removed as a director of Custom House Square Management CLG at the EGM on 27 July. Thank you if you voted for me to remain but the count was insufficient and the resolution was passed by a substantial majority.

At the EGM many accusations and allegations were made against me by the other directors and by the building manager. And some of them were even true. I did made mistakes and they were fully exploited. My arguments concentrated on the deteriorating finances of the company but none of the Board wanted to engage with these issues.

I have been on holiday for two weeks and have been considering the options. One director was never going to win a battle against a combination of the Board, the building manager/company secretary and the managing agent. A different approach will be needed.

I believe that over-spending is leading to financial decline of our company but we may have to wait until the next published accounts (for 2016) for this to become apparent.

I am sending this email to members who have supported me in the past and I propose to keep you informed with occasional (not weekly) emails of developments in CHS. If you want to be removed from the mailing list please let me know.
