This seems to me to be an incomplete statement. Everyone has opinions, but for opinions to have credibility, they need to be based on facts and data, and on the knowledge you get from facts and data. And if you are unwilling (or unable) to change your opinion based on facts and data, then I don’t think you are willing (or able) to grow, intellectually or otherwise.
It’s one thing to have an environment where opinions and beliefs can be discussed. But if you insist on holding and expressing opinions and beliefs that not only provably false, but are actively hostile and toxic, and are not willing to accept the overwhelming evidence that those opinions and beliefs are false, then perhaps the only reasonable way to have a safe and open environment is to remove you from it.
