Awesome article Roddy and very well made point. The response-causilty chasm is such a hard line to walk and I think you are very correct in analysis. I listed to an interview recentely with Taleb and he spoke that he wants to move into doing research where his conclusions will be presently purely mathematically and with data so that there can be no interpretation bias. I think we should be appreciate of that clarity on his part.
