I used to use Gmail to take notes, composing them in draft emails to myself. Then Google Notebook came along in 2006 and I used that all time for everything. Then Google shut down Notebook in 2011 and I was note-less. I tried Google Keep in 2013 but there isn't an iPhone app and Keep doesn’t have the web clipping features of Google Notebook or Evernote. After years of resistance, I started using Evernote heavily n 2014. But I still prefer Google Notebook.
