Beautiful story. I remember reading about Gilda’s time of self-blame after her cancer diagnosis and when she wondered, “Did I eat too many red M&Ms as a kid?” A sweet soul taken way too soon. The Gilda’s Center that Wilder established in Chicago has no doubt helped thousands of people.
