Libra is supposed to be the sign of balance in the zodiac. On the contrary, in my opinion, it causes greater imbalance in the collective.
There are things that are instantly enjoyable about a Libra — their charm, beauty especially cheek indentations. But it is not a sign of balance, contrary to what it is commonly labelled as. Of course, there can be people of the sign who are balanced. However, the overall energy of this sign is one of beauty, aesthetics and harmony; not of balance. Balance means there should be attention given to both harmony and disharmony, but a Libra is focused on bringing harmony into situations to unhealthy extents, at the expense of the truth, by completely ignoring disharmony even if it is the TRUTH. The truth often contains discord and abuse, something that most Libras irresponsibly dismisses.
Beauty is very subjective and can be reinvented. I am inclined to believe that instead of having an expansive approach to aesthetics, the Libra energy continues to perpetuate the already invented notions of beauty. These are often tied to power, money, and colonialism. For example, light skin and wide eyes are conventionally beautiful; brick walls are aesthetic for houses, and all these ideas have been brought by colonizers from the west to the colonized eastern countries.
