Roadmap Update

The updated Chumbi Valley Roadmap aims to provide transparency around the current position of the project and highlight the upcoming big-picture milestones for Chumbi Valley.

With so many huge accomplishments being made over the past 6 months, Chumbi Valley continues to keep up the momentum.

The Roadmap has been designed to better reflect the current priorities of the Chumbi Valley team, utilising a ‘stages’ model rather than a timeline. The milestones are listed in chronological order. This provides a clear framework of prioritisation that governs the project workflow.

Roadmap Stages

Chumbi Valley is currently in Stage 3 of the Roadmap with the team focused on ‘Pre Alpha’ game development. The milestones have been grouped into stages. It’s important to know that most milestones displayed in stage 3 are already in progress.

The team is dedicated to increasing brand awareness, token and NFT utility, and community engagement.

What’s in progress?

Website & Marketplace
The team is making strides in redesigning the website and developing the Chumbi marketplace which will use $CHMB as the currency for all marketplace purchases such as Chumbi NFTs, cosmetics, land decor and more.
Merchandise
Merchandise samples have already been shipped and are being quality reviewed internally. Chumbi merch will allow the community to show their support for the project while owning a tangible piece of the Chumbi Valley universe and adding further utility for $CHMB.
Breeding Event & Generation 1 Chumbi NFT Sale
Seed Chumbi owners can look forward to participating in the upcoming breeding event. The development of the breeding portal is already being reviewed and tested internally. The launch of the breeding event & NFT sale will be announced well in advance, giving the community ample time to prepare. Pre Alpha Game Development
Current development efforts focus on building a test world in which the core game mechanics can be developed and reviewed. World and terrain rendering, UI/UX, controls, Player and Chumbi animations, farming, lighting, and effects are just some of the exciting elements that the team have been working on. Steady progress is being made with Chumbi Valley’s new game dev partner, NonceBlox Metaverse Team. Additionally, the Chumbi team will shortly expand to include some internal game devs to further speed up development. Stay tuned for more upcoming dev log updates!
$CHMB Burning Events
There are 2 upcoming $CHMB burning events. The Gen 1 Chumbi Sale will burn up to $1M USD worth of $CHMB. There is an additional burning event in development. Details soon to be announced.
$CHMB Staking
With the success of the first staking portal being filled, the team is developing an exciting new staking portal. Details soon to be announced.

Game Release Structure

Chumbi Valley is currently in the Pre Alpha stage of game development and is testing the core functionality of the game in Unity. The image below provides information on the game development progress/structure as well as who has access to these releases.
