What I want to Improve.

I want to be more energized. It takes a lot for me right now to wake up every morning to just be ‘UP’ and have enough energy for the whole day. I did some research online and a lot of sources point to having a active morning like working out and going for a run in the morning. Moving around and pushing yourself physically gets the blood flowing in your body including your brain. That should get your mind more focused on the day ahead.

Working out in the morning should also help with my improvement goal number two, Get fit. I’m not a junk food eater, but I’ve had a portion control issue as far back as I can I remember. I never grew up rich so I always ate everything that was placed in front of me. I am currently teaching myself on when to say no and when to stop eating.. Another thing I want to work on is the amount I procrastinate.

Before I can work on any of the issues I’ve listed above, I need to stop giving myself excuses. I find myself making excuses to not to do something and it either gets done last minute or forgotten completely. I need to find my discipline to do what I know I should do, even when I don’t feel like doing it..

Last thing I want to improve is my social skills. Growing up as a kid I always tended to keep to myself, minding my own business and not saying much to the people around me. Thankfully I am not that same person anymore and I’d consider myself lot more social then I was before. However, I still find myself going back to that anti social kid I was whenever I’m in uncomfortable environments and situations. So far my plan to improve this part of myself is to be more curious by asking more questions and be willing to learn about the things and people around me even if I’m not interested in it at all.
