Woke up very scared this morning

You see, everyone in Lagos has had improved power supply of recent, but most aren’t talking about it, because no one wants to jinx the thing.

Well, the NEPA guys returned to my area yesterday, no light since yesterday morning. I called friends in other parts of the city, and I concluded that we had a fault. Whatever.

Doesn’t matter to me. Not much rain yesterday, so my batteries were fully charged, I went to bed. Then woke up this morning, to dead silence. I assumed that the power had been restored during the night. Went to my junction box, and nothing. Stepped outside, pitch black. Asked one of the security guys if there’d been power overnight.

Negative.

So, why in the name of Amadioha’s left nipple is no one’s generator on? Now I am really afraid…
