And because we all have an instinctual desire to help those in need, Johnson & Johnson launched CaringCrowd as a crowdfunding platform where people like you can support global health initiatives around the world..

Caring is sharing
To help people living in the South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, for example, LifeNet, a non-profit, has a project posted on CaringCrowd that supports 12 local health facilities in an effort to improve health outcomes for the 130,000 patient visits and 4,800 newborns delivered every year.
To ensure that each donation maximizes its full potential to help those in need, CaringCrowd does not charge for use of the platform.
CaringCrowd and CI&T are making a difference through dedication and design
CI&T was entrusted to build the CaringCrowd platform, working with R/GA on the design, and we’re proud to have been nominated for the SXSW Interactive Innovation Award in the Responsive Design category. This particular award is for outstanding digital design and excellence in terms of content, aesthetics and functionality.
This year, the SXSW Interactive Innovation Awards include 13 categories and seven special honors, with innovative projects in areas ranging from health technology to virtual reality, and everything in between. CI&T will be exhibiting the project at SXSW’s Interactive Innovation Awards Finalist Showcase at the Austin Convention Center on Sunday, March 12, 2017. And the winners of this year’s awards will be announced at the award ceremony on Tuesday, March 14.
