Google is Creating Opportunities For Businesses to Receive More Clicks
As a business, the goal is to produce content that will reach consumers. According to an article on SocialMediaToday, Google is offering what is called a ‘Responsive Search Ads’ resource. This new feature allows businesses to create ads that have differences within them containing options, which then Google will show the best combination of the created headlines, descriptions, logos etc. from the advertiser that will be able to reach their targeted consumer audience. Additionally, Google is including information necessary to the user to add specific details to the content like “add more headlines” and “make headlines more unique”. So far according to Google results, advertisers that are using this resource have seen, on average, 15% more clicks by their targeted audience.
With the constant growth of businesses advertising on media platforms, this Google tool could be the start for companies to understand how and what they need to improve on to receive more clicks by the consumers they are trying to reach. The combination of relevance, quality, actionable feedback, and diversity of the projected advertisement is able to be done by this new resource. It saves the company time and money by having Google’s optimization tool to do some of the work for them finding the best combinations. Not only could this tool make more clicks happen for an ad, it also challenges the advertiser to create more creative and unique content upfront. If and when they receive a low score on all or some of their headlines. It is the advertisers’ job to put in work to create the content that will receive the clicks, Google’s sources are there to guide advertisers not to do all the work for them. The ad tool is an opportunity, not a definite alternative.
In my opinion, I think this is an important start for companies to understand how to word specifics into their headlines and descriptions on Google ads, but more importantly to incorporate that into different platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. Ads are popping up everywhere and if a business does not know how to create that unique, creative content that will grab users attention, then that company will ultimately have a bigger difficulty being a successful business. Social Media is booming and so are companies that know what content to put out there to reach their target audience.
