It’s like the whole world is trapped in high school. Everyone’s trying to figure out who the cool kids, what are the hip ideas and trends, and they are looking to the mainstream media or rich pricks like Trump to let them in the clique. And yet, the message of every freakin after school special and television sitcom aimed at teenagers since the beginning of time has been look inside, decide what you most value, and then follow that energy to where ever it leads. Maybe you should make after school specials for adults Caitlin, you do a great job educating us. So funny that everyone says they value honesty and integrity and yet most have no idea what that even means. We have become such an immature society. Bernie Sanders steps on the scene and people are mystified as to why he doesn’t strike back at every critic or seek revenge for every wrong. Why? Because he is an adult. He’s got better things to do then act out. And he knows he will lose the respect of adults if he acts like a child. You, Caitlin are trying to get us to mature as a culture, when people need to mature as individuals first. When enough people look a little passed the immediate to see a broad perspective and keep control of their emotions to the point where just a handful of the left behind freakout over stuff will move forward. I sometimes point out to people, I wouldn’t want to freak out if that thing you’re freaking out about was actually happening to me. Why are you freaking out that if happened to others. Freaking out is never the answer to anything. If people can’t learn to control their own minds and emotions we are all doomed. Thanks for the reminder. Calm heads prevail!
