ANTICIPATION FOR THE EVENT BEGINS

CinEvents created a website housing all event information, including all participating cinemas and driving customers to purchase tickets.

Variety exclusively announced that the event would be coming to the big screen on 7th March 2017.

After the exclusive from Variety more news outlets quickly spread the word about the ‘one night only’ screenings.

CinEvents created a brand new trailer detailing the event which was launched on 20th January via The David Bowie official fan page on Facebook — reaching half million people and receiving over 100k views within 10 hours of going live.

The excitement began as fans shared the trailer and started to pre — book tickets.

In order to raise social engagement, competitions were run to give Bowie fans the chance to win a Woody Woodmansey signed poster of ‘Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders from Mars’.
