For many man, our action is driven by our avoidance of the undesirable, the don’t instead of the do, the hate instead of the love, the fear instead of the dare
Our survival instinct is the motivation of our every action, and only a handful wake up from the oblivion. Things that we do and later regret are things that we justified in the light of anger, hatre, fear and disgust. For which we found self-forgiveness an unattainable task
However all men are capable of loving and caring, for he who does not abandon the principle of a righteous man, he will then do nothing regretful in the case of undesirable moment, and it leads to having no regret and no need for forgiveness
For many other men, we shall not just seek forgiveness from others but practice forgiving the misfortunes that were casted on us, that made us afraid, that made us miserable, that made us questioned the fate, that made us abandoned our good faith, that made us the opposite of who we truly are. Because at the end we need to feel good, we need to know that our lives have had a good impact to the ones we love, that our short years of existence have served its purpose and ready to go. To achieve that we shall be free from regret and knowing that we are forgiven, not just by the world, but by ourselves. Maybe God will forgive us all, but for many that does not hold that faith, forgiving this imperfect world is perhaps the only way we can forgive ourselves.
