If these guys were really about ‘sharing’ they would share the profits they make from their cut and not hoard them. All they’ve done is invent an app to put people and gigs together — after they’ve made back their start-up costs and any on-going, a real ‘sharing’ economy would give everyone involved a stake over and above the fee they get from their gigs. Without the drivers, cleaners, room renters etc involved the utility of these on-demand apps would go to zero — so maybe there outta be a law specific to so-called ‘sharing’ economy companies which force them to actually share…would certainly cut down on the law-suits!
