How to watch “Fast & Furious”
Hello fellow Ringers and film enthusiasts! My name is Mario and this is my first post on Medium. I am sure that you will like it because, as you probably figured out from my title, I will talk about the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
Now you may wonder why I chose to talk about “Fast & Furious”. Well, besides the fact that these movies are some of the best action movies of all time, I grew up with them, as I was born in 1996 and the fist movie came out in 2001 when I was 5 years old so I consider myself a part of the family. My favourite movie is the first “Fast & Furious” from 2001. It keeps my personal record with 12 views. The others I watched only around 5 or 6 times. As you can see I am familiar with this franchise and today I will teach you “How to watch “Fast & Furious” so let’s get behind the wheel and push the pedal to the metal!
Because there are already 8 movies in this franchise you can imagine that the story is huge and it has many details that you need to keep in mind to enjoy 100% every movie. The first thing you need to do, before watching the newest Fast & Furious movie is to watch again the previous movies. I suggest doing a movie marathon and watching one or two movies per day. This will refresh your memory of the story line before adding something new. I don’t advise you to watch more than, let’s say, three movies per day because this would be too exhausting and you could miss important aspects from the movies. And let’s face it, you can’t enjoy a movie if you are tired.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the movies are not in chronological order. For example, the story from the third movie, “Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift”, happens after the events from the sixth movie, “Fast & Furious 6”. I won’t give you any spoilers, don’t worry. So you have to see all the movies to fully understand the whole story.
The next tip is be patient. Every movie will leave you with many questions regarding the characters and the story but the answers will be provided in the following movies so don’t google them or anything, just keep watching the movies, all the answers will come.
The final tip that I want to give you is do not, and I repeat DO NOT try to copy what you see in the movies! I know that you will be full of adrenaline and you will want to try the thrill of a race, but remember that street racing is illegal and very dangerous so drive carefully and obey to the traffic rules. The stunts in the movies are made by professionals and with special effects. They are not meant to be copied in the real life.
My quick tutorial ends here my friends.
Thank you very much for reading! I hope you enjoyed it and I will see you next time.
