Designed by the Nudes Architects, Titled “The Forest” school in India with a rooftop cycle track and live skin.

The Forest titled project scheme explores the relationship with the nature and education. The project aims to bring the vibrant, Green building into the heart of dense urban environment, which is been under development from the past decade.

The project focuses on five main principles namely,
1. Grow
2. Learn
3. Reuse
4. Plant
5. Play

Nudes designed the mass of building into two green cylindrical volumes that are connected by rooftop infinity shaped cycle track. The entire built-up construction area of the school is approximately 125,000 ft² creating houses of learning environment from childhood schooling to higher grade.

The curve is defined by a series of level of lush vegetation and uniform protrusions that occupies them, which creates a live skin atmosphere which improves air quality and overall students health.

The round form of the plan harnesses the idea of facilitating interaction and learning experiences to the students. Central atrium draws in light and creates social gathering space, in addition to it provides cross ventilation across classroom corridors.

Plotted on the rectangular linear plot, the school building occupies the front side of the plot while the rear side area creates an open space for play and sport.

The space occupied by the footprint on the ground is reflected by the infinity loop on the rooftop.
