According to online sources ‘Athene’s Theory of Everything’ documents the discovery of Chiren Boumaaza, aka ‘Athene’. Known for his record-setting World of Warcraft and online poker antics Boumaaza is considered a genius by some, a ‘troll’ by many and an incredibly capable gamer and entertainer by most.

The documentary is a retrospective on Athene’s foray into the fields of quantum mechanics, relativity, and neuroscience in his own attempt at finding the answer to ‘What is the meaning of life?’.

With astounding accuracy and knowledge of the subject matter and a fearless disregard for convention Chiren found evidence of numerous research observations with glaring correlations between these highly specialized and mutually relevant research areas. By doing so he manages to gain a perspective that defies the normal hyperopia that typifies most modern scientific research.

‘Athene’s Theory of Everything’ is a revelation of the extraordinary insight and sense possible by looking at what we know from a ‘Grand Scheme of Things’, unfettered by conventional thinking and irreverent beliefs.

Far from it being a typical documentary Athene manages to make sense and explain several hitherto confounding, discordant and disputed research observations to resolve some of the most vexing problems in physics, cognition and conscious awareness which not only have practical, but also deeply philosophical repercussions.

‘Athene’s Theory of Everything’ doesn’t only refer to the scientific concept of a unified field theory, but also to the scope of his research, which encompasses everything that has deep significance to how science can affect our view on life, death, and reality, ranging from neuroscience to particle physics. At the same time, his commentary on the research never wanders off into many of the esoteric correlations that modern quantum ‘theorists’ often resort to.

‘Athene’s Theory of Everything’ is a film that not only deals with the self-evident relevance between the subjects related to reality, quantum mechanics, neuroscience, and human psychology, but at the same time he presents a compelling argument for breaking down the barriers that divide these disparate scientific research communities. Without resorting to sensationalized or metaphysical claims Athene’s writing, which the documentary is based on, stays clear of the pseudo-scientific psychobabble often associated with authors attempting to resolve ‘The Grand Scheme of Things’, ‘The Theory of Everything’, or questions about reality and the meaning of life. He looks to science with alacrity, due respect for its roots, in openness and skepticism without losing the sense of awe and wonder those popular scientists such as Carl Sagan and Sir Richard Attenborough manage to instill in us.

With his unique perspective and astute observation, he challenges our traditional thinking about reality, reason, relation, challenges what we believe and question how we think about life, living, and the meaning of life. At the very least his conclusions provide clear and present proof why looking at scientific proof from a vantage point that acknowledge the fact that everything is connected, and how looking at evidence for mutual relevance may resolve many of the mysteries and answer much of the uncertainty that exist about the validity of research findings and resolve the misconstrued theories that invariably follow in the wake of doubt and disbelief.

Highly recommended viewing for anyone who ever wondered about living and living it well.

A revelation of the present sense we share intent in sense and mutual relevance regardless of our conviction, creed or cast.
