Pairs of Shoes
In my journey I have walked countless miles in many pairs of shoes. I have walked in the shoes of a victim, an addict, a loser, a patient, a member of a discriminated group, a defeatist, an underachiever, the helpless, an unbeliever, a pessimist, a troubled youth and the disabled. I have also walked in the shoes of a Christian, a survivor, a fighter, a winner, an over achiever, a college graduate, the empowered, an advocate, a counselor, a successful adult, and a good man. Some shoes were more comfortable than others and some were downright unbearable. Some shoes were imaginary and some required "wearing in" to become comfortable. However, even though I have walked in many pairs of shoes, I have never stopped walking, and never will.
