Agreed. When I interview junior candidates now, I make sure that they are the kind of person who wants to be challenged. I paint a picture that loads them with responsibility and see if that kind of situation excites them or not. If it does, and they have the technical capabilities, then I am confident that they can grow and excel when given the opportunity.
