I’m a total advocate of icebreaker questions. Sure, they may prompt a few eye-rolls here and there, but they most definitely serve a purpose. Namely, that interesting questions often lead to interesting answers. Plus, using icebreaker questions can help us get out of our normal question-based talking ruts (ie. How are you? How was your day? etc.) and inspire deeper connections.

Below I’ve gathered some of my favorite questions to ask as you’re getting to know someone (or yourself). Consider them pocket-sized guides to small(ish) talk.
