We are nearing the end of 2023, and with 2024 around the corner, it’s always exciting to see the celestial line-ups for the upcoming season, and boy, the sky did not disappoint.
We have several celestial movements, but I think it’s fair to crown the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction as the main event of 2024.
The Technical
On May 16, 2023, Jupiter enters Taurus. It will stay in Taurus until May 25, 2024. But before Jupiter ends its tenure in this earth sign, a rare conjunction with Uranus is bound to happen on April 20, 2024, at 21 degrees.
The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction might not be such an unusual occurrence. However, their meeting in Taurus is a rare one.
I have dated back the calendar to the year 1100 to check how many times they have come together in a conjunction in the sign of Taurus.
To my surprise, only 3 times since 1100.
Between the year 1100 and 2023, Jupiter and Uranus came together in a conjunction only 3 times: back in 1181, 1858, and the most recent one was in 1941. The next one will be on April 20, 2024.
Isn’t it an exciting time to be alive?
Why is it a big deal?
Aside from the fact that they rarely form a conjunction with each other, it’s important to ponder what both planets, as well as the sign, represent.
Jupiter represents expansion, and Uranus represents breakthrough.
On a mundane level, this conjunction is a needed push that propels us into the future. It is gearing us up for 2025 when three generational planets finally settle in a new sign — signifying the start of a new era.

Taurus is often associated with the idea of comfort, wealth, and security. In hindsight, it is easy to assume that there will be a certain kind of breakthrough in the realm of material possessions.
Bitcoin, being the child of Taurean Uranus, will probably feel the impact of this conjunction. Good or bad? Honestly, I can’t say, as I’m not following it.
Being the first earth sign of the zodiac, Taurus is often associated with Mother Earth. So, will this conjunction bring a change to the earth as we know it? Only time will tell.
Being a fixed sign, Taurus holds onto its ground pretty strongly. They are known for being steady and stable but also stubborn.
The conjunction of Uranus and Jupiter will shatter Taurus’ ground, forcing the bull to adapt.
I think it is quite impossible to predict what will happen, as Uranus is very erratic, especially on a personal level. You can never guess what it would do.
