Prince William County schools accused of neglect
Two families have come forward claiming that their children were discriminated against for having diabetes. Gavin Verhagen needed an insulin shot which the nurse refused to administer and a lollipop he was eating when his blood sugar was low was torn from his mouth. Diana Truax needed her pod changed when it fell out and the nurse refused to do it.
Car chase on I-66
A car led police in a slow speed chase Thursday, Sept. 15 at 2 a.m. Work crews reported SUV going about 30 mph when the chase began. The car went as slow as 16 mph in what police believe to be an alcohol induced incident.
Teen pleads guilty for supplying drugs in overdose
Alexia Springer snorted prescription drugs at a Clifton party and made it home before being found dead the next morning. David Evers faces 5–40 years in prison after pleading guilty for giving Springer the medications. Evers will be sentenced Dec. 2.
