Greed

I slay upon the rocks blinded beneath the pink walls you thought of ‘money-facturer’s
prayers after prayers about the fools and the youth
a balance between hope and sheer disappointment
past when Bathala devours the great,
quenched by a hint of calvary and dismay.

Right where I ask to justify each mark by my wound,
from ones whom I summon to vow hallelujah in their own:
oh, such grace, such grief that my path will surpass,
leaving pinpoints as buried blueprints I once admired
but let greed be as far and thorough
of mankind and of the hollow,
like melamine condensed in tiny vessels,
vast reaches bewilderment of significant heave.
