Author: The Bottleneck Rules & Rolling Rocks Downhill.
This is the first chapter of Rolling Snowballs Downhill, the partially written, but unlikely to be finished, sequel to my business novel, Rolling Rocks Downhill.
A week after I published Rolling Rocks Downhill, someone said, “You must be delighted!”
I smiled, but then I felt my face drop, and I heard myself say, “No not really.”
If she was, I couldn’t share this.

Confession: yesterday, I called into a hardware shop when I was out on a bike ride.
Way back when I got married my Mum and Dad flew out to Ireland, from New Zealand, for the wedding.
At one point I overheard my Dad (an old-school, non-religious farmer) ask the priest, “So, what’s it like living with all those Nuns then?”
Once upon a time, back in the olden days, a farmer was busy digging away in his garden when a shiny suited gentleman driving a shiny car, pulled up beside, hoped out and interrupted him with a cheerful “Hello, my friend!”.
