Study writing. Any good writing program will give you skills that are translatable into any profession. What business doesn’t need someone who can write? Think about all the content we read everyday on websites! Find a place that encourages writing and then just practice. Read a ton, too. You can’t be a writer of any type if you don’t read a crazy bunch. An English or writing degree will give you the creative and analytical foundation to write for anyone, including yourself.
