Actually, Scott, although they are a private Catholic school they accept federal funding which prohibits the school from discriminating against students due to gender, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation etc. via Title IX legislation. They also state in their Code of Conduct that students will not be discriminated against because of sexual orientation. If the evidence in the article is true (obviously only the accuser’s side of the story is being presented here) then the lawsuit has a good chance as being successful.
