History in 5 Minutes

It’s a strange new alchemy: turning five minutes into a lifetime. Nonetheless, five minutes is about how long it takes for us to set up our camera and start recording.

That’s five minutes and your lecture or presentation goes live or online for future audiences to see for as long as there is a University of Houston website (which we all hope will be a really long time). We can film a lecturer or panel alone. We can even use our Mediasite technology to put slides on the screen and stream it live, too. Our services are free of charge AND we are available to all colleges on the UH campus with some exceptions.

If you’d like to see an example of something that we’ve done, check out this video of Samina Ali, an author and activist who we recorded and streamed live at Agnes Arnold Hall in February. Samina Ali was invited by the CLASS Women’s Studies’ department to present on Muslim Women and Digital Acitivism.

If you like what you see, please give us a call!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
