Content that works is a series which I have been creating since the past couple of months but now as I set up my complete digital persona I am re-establishing in front of the new audience that what is content that works. Basically, it’s a series of blogs which explorers creators from across platforms who are doing excellent work in their platforms by creating unique and interesting content. I exxplain what makes their content great and breakdown for the normal every day going person so that he can grasp certain techniques to start his own content journey.
Now coming to Jubilee. Jubilee is a content production company which focuses on creating content related to human relations and how humans react to certain scenarios. The founder of Jubilee Jason Lee explains how he got the idea of forming jubilee busking at New York subway station to raise money for charity.
Now coming to content the main idea behind jubilee is to showcase the audience how humans react to someone or something which is completely out of their comfort zone. This helps the audience to understand the need for unity, equality and empathy in the modern-day society. Using this content format I believe they are able to discuss things which people would not discuss openly or on any other media channel because of its controversial nature, but jubilee has a positive and organic approach to every topic they discuss on their show plus their content delivery method is very self-explanatory itself every question which will pop in your mind will be answered in there video erasing any doubts in the minds of the audience. This also promotes the audience to view the picture with the perspective of their opposite mentality to see things by supposing themselves as if it were happening with them.
Their best series is middle ground series in which they make to two groups of people with a clashing point of view come together and discuss. The way in which this is the make them stand behind in a spotlight and give them statements if they agree they come and sit on the stools kept in front of them. Then the people from both sides you agree have a discussion after that the people who disagreed from both sides come and share their point of view. I find the content extremely powerful and knowledgeable they are helping humanity in a very unique and creative way. The best video from their versus series according to me is Israel versus Palestine.
Besides than middle ground, they also have other series which are equally powerful and expressive I am linking videos below of some of them.
Let’s break it down what makes Jubilee so powerful and how how organisations focusing on human development can take a lesson from them
- Creativity:- They don’t just call people and have a discussion and let go off with video but instead, they create some sort of mini-games and steps which increases uses focus on the topic ok and helps them indulge more.
- Organic:- Their videos are not all scripted in any way just the whole idea is being staged before the video. The people are free to speak which helps real emotions come out.
- Focus on the human element:- Some other human development organisations focus too much on the system and how it is not correct etc, Jubilee focuses on letting their audience know the truth what is happening around and let them be the judge there are no blame games played here simple straight forward to the face. This helps people to e raise their drawbacks instead of blaming someone else as a reason behind it.
