India, when we take this name in our mind, we have a very positive image in our mind, haven’t we? There are so many things to do, to experience, to visit in the country. We can’t deny that India is one of those countries that attract the most tourist from all over the world.

Whether we talk about buildings, national parks, museums, temples, rivers, or waterfalls, India has something to offer every kind of traveler.

Today, we will talk about one of the hidden and less-known waterfalls of India, the Sawatsada Waterfall which is located in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra State of India.

Believe me, it is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the location that is very popular among a few travelers. The reason behind it is that is very far from the urban area, so the common man hardly reaches there.

However, the location is easily accessible by road. The nearest bus stop is Chiplun Bus Depot which is only 4km away from the waterfall. The closest railway station is Chiplun Railway Station and the closest airport is Ratnagiri Airport.

After arriving at the location, you can experience a lot of things. For instance, you can take a bath, go trekking, and take the most stunning pictures of nature.

Marleshwar Temple, Guhagar Beach, Temple of Lord Parashurama, Gowalkot Fort, and Vashishti River are some of the most popular tourist attractions near the Sawatsada Waterfall.
