From Someone Whose Watched Too Many of ThemThe following is advice compiled from yelling at my television. 1. Be nice. Seriously — basic manners would seem to put you ahead of a lot of chefs. 2. Plating matters. Which, to my untrained eye, seems to mean packing your main ingredients into a compact shape in the middle of a the plate with a lot of white space around it.
