You mean about feeling like you belonged to something bigger than yourself?

Well, I was there too, and I have never been one to be a ‘joiner’. I was there to express my truth, not anyone else’s. I walked with a few friends from work. I joined in chants I agreed with, stayed silent during others, and admired the many different forms of political expression of those around me.

I didn’t see any violence, and I haven’t found any reports of violence that day instigated by the left. The ‘free speech’ protestors left while the part of the march I was in was still at least half a mile away from them. I followed what they had had to say later in the news.

It was a hot, sweaty, tiring event I was glad to be part of. I listened and made my own choices.
