I think you hit some very good points in your discussion. First of all, thank you for sharing that classroom experience where the teachers did not greet the students because I really think that a small things such as that can have a great positive impact on the classroom environment. I also really liked that you pointed out the three key dimensions of connection, competence, and control because I did no think about it when I was writing my blog. However, I think these are essential elements that we need to have in a classroom in order for ALL the students to feel connected and interested in the lessons as well as feel like they have a say in what happens in the classroom. This way they really feel that they are part of the classroom and everyone has the same opportunities.
