Day 2

Well, its day two of my new habit of writing each day about things I learned.

I had a very productive day today, even though I had to deal with some distasteful homework for school; but alas, I only have a couple months left, fortunately.

It was very refreshing to have a hard workout lifting with the Romanian legend, Istvan “Steve” Javorek. He has been an amazing blessing to my life, and has transformed my body from that of a skinny boy to a muscular man.

Moreover, I had the pleasure of continuing my learning in Rails while working on a project of mine: TrueCare. The application is coming along nicely, and I am amazed at how well it is going so far.

I just have to tip my hat to Matz for the beautiful and expressive Ruby language, and to DHH and the Rails Core team for working so hard on making web development fun and easy. I cannot thank them enough for their dedication and effort.

I also have to comment about my standup desk; I have developed a great habit of standing while working which has really helped me have more energy and focus.

Thus, my learning in school, life, web development and computer programming are all increasing daily. I am really looking forward to learning data science skills and applying them to make intelligent web applications that could be startups.

To finish, I would like to share a quote that really got me thinking:

Don’t tell me where your priorities are. Show me where you spend your money and I’ll tell you what they are.

Thank you for that advice, James Frick. This is a vital truth to keep in mind.

With that, I will sign off… thanks for reading and have a great day!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
