Thank you for writing this. I enjoy wine but have never been sure how to “drink” it. Well, at least not to the point of experiencing the wine. I’ve tried to read on it and everything I found was so pretentious that I either couldn’t understand the jargon, or I ended up feeling that I had to put my nose so far in the air that I couldn’t see to finish the article.

Your article, on the other hand, was refreshingly real. It was lighthearted and used terms I can identify with.

Simply, you wrote this as if you actually wanted the reader to enjoy and experience his/her next glass of wine, not just marvel at your vast knowledge of the oenophilian.
