Self-Driving Trucks Are Going to Hit Us Like a Human-Driven Truck
Scott Santens

I can see some real benefits and potential pitfalls of self driving trucks. The benefits are less possibility of human error that can occur during long trucking stints across the country. We are human and can get tired and sleepy. If falling asleep at the wheel in a semi, the results can be disastrous. On the flip side, the pitfall of having a fleet of self driving trucks is the cyber threat or potential miscalculation due to computer glitch. Just having a truck this size on the road, without human ability to discern, can mean large damage if in an accident.
