I love your article, Caitlyn. It is honest and unapologetic. I respect your opinion and your love for life more than having false sympathy. I totally agree that death must die so that peace may live but I have a more extreme opinion — you just can’t believe in the sanctity of life until you hold all life as precious, even those who do not believe the same. So, I will pray that John McCain, an extremely powerful US senator, will see the light, in light of his illness, as so many people are given the opportunity to do when faced with their own death. Let us pray that his true self — his soul — will finally see the horror of his miserable ways and use the rest of his life to use his considerable power to make up for just a small fraction of the destruction he has meted to so many innocents. I hold my doveness more precious than my rage…I believe it is the truly only way to a lasting peace. “Love revealeth with unending and limitless power the mysteries latent in the universe.” I believe in that, even though I am not perfect at it, and I am holding to that.
