ClearDAO barrier option marketplace on Binance Smart Chain testnet is now open to everyone for public alpha testing. This is the first proof-of-concept marketplace built using the Clear SDK.

In this public alpha, anyone with MetaMask can visit the testnet platform and trade barrier knockout options. The strike price of these options is 100% of the underlying index price at the time of option purchase. There are a total of 4 underlying indices available:
- BNB
- BTC
- ETH
- 40% BTC + 40% ETH + 20% DOT
Available option maturities are:
- 1 day
- 3 days
- 7 days
- 14 days
Available knockout barrier levels are:
- 5%
- 7.5%
- 10%
- 15%
Quick Start Guide
Connect MetaMask to BSC Testnet
With MetaMask installed, click on the network selection button on the top of the menu screen, click “Add Network”. On the next page, fill out the information for each field:
- Network Name: BSC Testnet
- Chain ID: 97
- Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.binance.org/smart-testnet
- New RPC URL: https://data-seed-prebsc-1-s1.binance.org:8545
- Currency Symbol: BNB

Grab Yourself Some Testnet Tokens
Visit our BSC testnet platform at https://demo.cleardao.com . Click on the “USDC Faucet” button.
On the next page, enter your BSC wallet address to receive 1500 USDT test tokens. Then visit the BNB faucet link and enter your address again to receive 1 BNB.
Buy Some Options
Now that you have the testnet tokens, go back to the demo site. On the upper left corner, select the underlying asset of the option. Then choose whether you want to trade call or put options.
Scroll down to see the option products laid out in a 4 x 4 matrix, with different knockout barrier levels and maturities along with the prices and liquidity depth. Choose the option you want to purchase. Then enter the quantity you wish to buy.
Manage Option Positions
To view and manage your options inventory, scroll down further to the positions section. Here you can toggle between current and historical positions. For live positions, you can click on the “Close” button to sell back the options to liquidity providers.
Feedback
This is only a sneak peak of a tiny portion of what the Clear SDK is capable of. Our proof-of-concept marketplace is expected to debut on the mainnet in Q1 of 2022.
