The Business Plan, Investor and Accelerator Decks that Got Us From Paris to Palo Alto.
Some material from a year of entrepreneurship
[2013] A couple of months back, Arnaud, my co-founder and CTO, and I decided to open source both UniShared and VideoNot.es, which now have more than 70,000 users.
Because we’re big advocates of full transparency and openness, not only for technology, but also for information (check out what the awesome Buffer guys are doing), today we’re releasing some of our business plans and decks.
These documents give a glimpse into one year of entrepreneurship — from selling collaborative platforms to schools in Paris, to pitching a B2C product to investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners or Google Ventures in Silicon Valley:
- Application in French that got us into the Blue Factory — the ESCP Europe Incubator [June 2012]
- Deck we shared with a French Investor [December 2012]
- Business Plan we shared with a French Investor [December 2012]
- Deck that got us into Imagine K12, now part of Y Combinator [December 2012]
- Deck for our Demo Day in Palo Alto [May 2013]
- Deck we shared with a Silicon Valley Investor [June 2013]
As you can see, we made many mistakes but learned a ton along our journey so we would be happy to answer any question you may have. Hope it can help.
