Yep, agree with you, and I was speaking about “chat bots” in general, so bots living on messaging platforms (Slack, messenger, Whatsapp, Telegram…)

The examples I gave are Slack focused because these are the ones I’m using. I cannot yet speak of bots on Whatsapp or Messenger as their APIs are not yet ready. I have to try a bit more Telegram’s ones.

Hence my questions about the use cases and the platform specific bots. For example as a consumer I will probably prefer to speak to the customer support of a local business / service on Whatsapp pr messenger but ot on Slack.
