Climate Wave Coffee Company
How did we get our name?
It all started when a bunch of people wanted to pee and poo like a breeze. No, I am not kidding. Before we begin, we are going to use the word “wave” often. Yes, that same “wave” in our brand name.
Simply think of ‘wave’ as ‘generation.’ We don’t know why, but we love to use wave instead of generation. May be ‘generation’ is too outdated. Anyways, let’s back to that bunch of people. Lol.
If you are a coffee drinker, you will already know the miraculous laxative nature of coffee. So those folks gather in a place called Coffee House, sip coffee, and leave when their morning business is done. Please use your imagination to define that ‘morning business.’
After a while comes First Wave, one more bunch of entrepreneurs began to know that they can make a fortune out of coffee. So they traded mass-produced darkly roasted burnt coffee. We don’t want to comment; people loved it, though.
Then comes Starbucks, they saw that people are loving coffee. But they wanted to do something different. They created nice looking hangout spots for people, mixed a bunch of flavour shots to darkly roasted espresso, and topped it up with friendly baristas. We love those baristas, sweet people, especially when they mispronounce your name lol. Coffee lovers called it the Second Wave!
Some serious coffee lovers were still waiting for someone to offer real coffee, which tastes naturally good without any crap. That’s when the Specialty Coffee Industry was born. Yaay! Whistle podu machi! It’s our favourite wave, its called Third Wave. In this wave, the emphasis was given to coffee and the people who grew coffee trees. Fairtrade practices were encouraged. Supplier transparency was sparking, and consumers loved it. Artisan Barista skills were highly appreciated. Who doesn’t love that latte art?
Ok, it’s time to brag about us now. We love coffee, and we love people, so we love the Third Wave coffee movement. But we also love the planet. So we have created the Climate Wave Coffee company. We focus on coffee, people, and biodiversity.
Will Climate Wave become the next generation? Will biodiversity protection be taken seriously?
We don’t know yet, but we can hope for the best. Until then, let’s chill and enjoy a cup of delicious yet truly sustainable coffee.
