(I basically missed writing today. I was running around all day. No matter what the excuses are, they’re ultimately still excuses.)

I had the chance to talk to a lot of Stanford students today, because ASES had its fall retreat and all the new members came along. And it hit me that my worldview is incredibly different than the people my age just four years ago.

A lot has happened in the last four years. I’ve become more of an adult. I’ve developed more opinions. I’ve seen more things. Most importantly, I now understand why people look out into the ocean and think. It’s refreshing and lets you breathe.

Sometimes all you need is to catch your breath.
