Mohsan, my Burmese Uber driver, has a couple of kids in their 20’s. He drives a silver MDX.

This detail served as a starting point for our hour-long conversation on the way from Redwood City to SF. We discussed our shared love of Acuras. I learned his next car will likely be another MDX, or a Tesla if he can afford it. Chatting about Tesla is how we moved on to talking about his employment: Mohsan is currently out of work, driving for Uber as a temporary gig, and hoping to meet new people and find opportunities soon.
