The Model 3 begins

It’s official.

Perhaps the most interesting part of the car is the interior: it’s spartan, functional, and spacious:

There’s just one screen in the center of the car. To prepare for autonomous driving, Tesla minimized the actual “driving” aspect of the car. Instead, the Model 3 kinda looks like a mobile living room.

I’m certainly excited about the car, but I’ll have to wait to see it in person to fully understand whether I want it to be my next car.

Also, does anyone else think that the steering wheel unit looks kinda enormous? Bigger than the S, for sure. Maybe for crash protection? Maybe for autopilot features? Who knows.

The wood paneling and hidden vents are beautiful.
