Dear Kimberly,

thank you for an excellent piece on an incident that has caused more headlines and social media frenzy than when hundreds die in a bombing in Syria or a single capsizing of a refugee boat in the Mediterranean.

Couldn’t agree with you more (in my own words) sometimes ‘shit happens’ ; there is no reason, no cause, just effect.

But we still sit in judgement and make calls when we have little information.

I am a father of six and and make calls in relation to my family that often my friends, partner and peers disagree with. It’s MY call, made at THAT time, under THOSE circumstances and I really don’t give a flying fuck what anyone else thinks…
