Hi Brandon

Thank you for a well written and thought provoking piece.

I too am a 6 am riser, more out of habit than anything else. Once acquired it is a good habit which is difficult to break. Curiously my late father was the same. I feel it impossible to sleep in no matter how late I went to bed the previous night.

One thing that one of your correspondents made comment about though is relevant…. I wish we could all share the lifestyle you have chosen and obviously worked hard to achieve. Most of us by virtue of circumstance (On my part six children, five of whom are still at home!) have to get out of the house by 7–730 am for a long journey to our work desks. We dont have time for a long walk or workout before our work day starts. And most days our workloads are such that we cannot simply ‘wind down’ in the manner you describe.

Nonetheless, your words are encouraging and it would be something positive to aspire towards.

Keep up the good writing.
