I have a whole list of things we are working on and instead of keeping it to myself I thought I would share.
This list is in no particular order except I grouped all of the Electrum items together.
I am going to be as brief as possible on each item because the list is long!
Electrum Windows & Mac
We will soon have a Windows & Mac Electrum client available. It has all sorts of features which I have discussed extensively in past Weekly updates.
After the Windows & Mac release, we will be releasing an Android version of Electrum Terracoin. Once again, it has a ton of features!
A new subdomain to our website that will have all of the flashy Terracoin Electrum jazz.
New additions to our wiki that will explain everything you need to know about Terracoin Electrum in incredible detail.
A video about the Terracoin Electrum client. I guess that one is obvious.
The Terracoin Masternode tool. This is a stand-alone executable that can control masternodes from Mac and Windows. It also has a ton of features. I got to play around with a while ago and it includes decentralized governance voting and hardware wallet support.
I am split between my love for Terracoin Electrum, TMT, and TRCpay!
TheSin demoed it in a past virtual meetup on our Youtube channel.
The PRs are in for the hardware wallet Keypass, which means hopefully at some point in the future we will have a working hardware wallet via Keypass. Check out our sneak peek channel on mattermost to see some awesome screenshots!
All that Electrum stuff at the top of this Weekly update just moves us closer and closer to getting added to Ledger, which is another hardware wallet!
There are a couple of ways to change TRC (or Dash or Bitcoin) and one of those ways is through “BIPs.” You can read the github about it here. Terracoin and Dash also have decentralized governance, but basically certain features that have been added to Dash or Bitcoin need BIPs added. Sometimes when you add one feature you need to add various other BIPs.
Which makes adding a BIP a very complicated process, but it also vastly improves the code of a coin.
We are currently working on adding BIP9 to the Terracoin code.
We got two new website translations PRs for Terracoin.io today and we should have those up and running by the next Weekly!
The translations are for Russian and Lithuanian!
Well done Arthur!
In this Weekly I have regularly mentioned “we” but the driving force behind all of these massive developments is TheSin.
He has been busting his ass getting all these complicated different things working together.
If you have a chance, thank him for his dedication or send him some Terracoin at: 1LMF4gAhwUX8TN6e5Ff6m89oZG2HRcg7jL
Thanks everyone for the continued support and I can’t wait to start releasing things on Mattermost, Telegram and an allied Telegram channel!
Talk to you next Weekly or possibly sooner!
