REAL ESTATE CONTRACTS UNDER 1 MIN
Drafting real estate contracts such as Contracts of Lease and Sale is a time consuming and often cumbersome activity. Most of the time, you have to go back to the office, fire up your laptop, open MS Word, type in the needed information, save the document and send a copy to the concerned parties. This pain is what led us to create the Contract Generation feature.
Creating contracts can be partly automated and that’s what we did.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to get started.
Step 1
On your smartphone or laptop, login to your CLOUDSERVIZ account. Once you’re in, scroll down on the left sidebar until you find the “Contracts” logo.
Step 2
A new window will open and you’ll be greeted with two panels.
On the left, highlighted in red, contains the Templates for the contracts and below it is where you can preview the generated Contracts.
On the right, highlighted in green, will show a list of the customers that you have saved in your account. Depending on the type of customer (sale or rental), the software will determine what type of contract you are allowed to generate.
Update Aug-20: We’ve updated the software to automatically show leads, together with the customer records.
If you do not have a customer record yet, you may easily create one by clicking on the ‘Customer’ icon located on the left sidebar…
…and choosing ‘Add Record’ at the bottom of the drop-down menu…
…it will then take you to a the add customer record window. Simply fill out all the necessary info and click the ‘Add Customer Record” button at the bottom of the page…
…go back to the Contracts page and you’ll see your new record will reflected there.
Step 3
Click the ‘Create’ button on the left of the customer record…
…a drop-down menu will reveal two options; Letter of Intent and Contract of Lease. Choose which document you’d like to generate.
In this example, we’ll choose Letter of Intent.
Step 4
The ‘Generate Letter of Intent’ will open. From there, you‘ll need to fill out the needed info that you’d like to be seen on your Letter of Intent.
We already included some of the generic terms and conditions commonly found on these types of Contracts and Letters. All you need to do is either change/edit them or leave it as-is.
After you’ve finished inputting all the info, just click on the ‘Generate Button’.
Step 5
You’re done. You’ve just generated your first document! You’ll see the generated document at your ‘Contracts’ pane.
Step 6
Click the ‘View’ button to preview your document. The software will generate a unique PDF URL and will open in a new window from your browser.
This unique PDF URL is secured, only registered CLOUDSERVIZ users may view the URL. You may send this unique PDF URL to your tenant, landlord and co-brokers for them to review your document (if they have a CLOUDSERVIZ account) or you may download it or print it and personally submit it to them. Either way, you’ve just freed up your time to take care of another client!
