At the metaverse platform “Cluster,” we’re making various improvements so that you can enjoy your time in the virtual space. See previous Release Notes here:
Here are some updates from the Cluster v2.119 release:
Up to 5 thumbnails can now be set for world information on the website! The mobile version and others will follow in due course!
This update makes it easier to convey the charm of the world and how people play there!
You can now set up to 5 thumbnails on the world information page of the official Cluster website. We will start with the website but will gradually support other versions, such as the smartphone app, in the future.
Settings can be made on the Edit World Information page.
In the example above, if the first page shows a thumbnail that conveys the appeal of the world, the second page shows how to play, and the third and later pages show how the world is actually played, it may be easier to convey the appeal of the world even before entering it. Please try setting exciting thumbnails!
World recommendations can now be displayed after the event
Until now, users were moved to the lobby after an event, but with this update, you can now display recommended worlds.
You can set your own recommended worlds, so you can introduce worlds related to your event, worlds of recommended creators, and more. We hope you will try using this new feature!
Up to five recommended worlds can be displayed.
The settings can be edited from “Worlds to recommend after the event ends” on the event edit page.
Events can be ended from “End Event” in the staff menu.
Notes:
- If no world is specified, it will be automatically picked up from the world ranking in the “Games” category.
- When 10 minutes pass without moving after the event, you will be automatically moved to the home page.
Improved third-person view for better feel and easier operation
We have made improvements to improve the feel and ease of operation from a third-person perspective.
The following points have been improved, and we invite you to touch and experience them for yourself!
- The feel has been improved.
- Inertia is now added when moving forward or backward.
- Operations are now easier!
- The angle of view has been adjusted to make the world look wider.
- The angle of view is no longer reset when zooming in/out.
- It is now easier to see the avatar’s entire body.
Some miscellaneous bug fixes and performance improvements were made.
- Fixed a problem in which the “Follow” function notification button could not be clicked, and the user could not proceed.
- Fixed a symptom where friends in private worlds are displayed in the “Online” tab of the friend's screen.
